What Exactly Is BharatPe?
BharatPe is truly an ‘Indian’ leading fintech company, a pioneer in UPI payments and digital money lending for merchants. We empower the merchants to accept payments from any UPI Payment App for ‘FREE’ through a single BharatPe QR Code. BharatPe makes payment acceptance simple by offering merchants a single interface for all UPI apps.
What Is UPI?
UPI is Unified Payments Interface. In simple terms, UPI is a payment system to transfer money between two parties, very similar to NEFT or RTGS transfer. UPI has been developed by the National Payments Corporation of India, facilitating inter-bank transactions.
Is BharatPe A Wallet?
No, BharatPe is not a wallet. It is a payment solution application exclusively designed for merchants that can accept payments from any UPI payment app through a single BharatPe QR Code.
What Can I Do with BharatPe?
Through BharatPe, merchants can make transactions with customers using a single BharatPe QR Code that accepts payments from all UPI Apps. By making more transactions through the BharatPe QR Code, you can avail loan offers, cashback, and many other bonus offers.
Who Can Use BharatPe?
Business-owners, retailers, especially small and mid-scale retailers, and merchants can use BharatPe to accept payments and make transactions with customers using the BharatPe QR Code.

Account Activation


How can I create an account on BharatPe?
Just download the BharatPe app, enter your name, business name, mobile number, bank account number and IFSC code to create your account.
Is there a limit on the amount of money accepted via BharatPe per transaction?
The limit set on the amount of money accepted via BharatPe per transaction is the same as the limit set on the amount of money accepted by BHIM UPI.
Is BharatPe free of cost?
BharatPe is absolutely free. No setup charges! No transaction charges! No maintenance fees! No processing fees! No hidden charges!
How can I change my registered bank account?
Open the link bharatpe.in/bac and fill the form. Then you will receive a call within the next 24 Hours for Account/Detail verification. After verification, you can change your bank details in the next 6 hours.
How can I add a new mobile number to receive SMS Alert?
A maximum of 3 numbers can be added. Go to Menu>>> Settings>>> Tap Add Mobile Number>>> Enter Name>>>Enter Mobile Number >>>Tap on Confirm. However, to change your registered mobile number, you will have to create a new BharatPe account.

QR Code


How can I raise a request for a new QR code?
On the top left of the home page, go to the menu button. A box will appear as, ‘Do you have a printed QR?’ If you want to request a new QR Code, select NO and fill the details.
When can I request a new QR Code?
a. In case your QR Code is lost or damaged.
b. If you require a Customized QR Code with your Business Name.
How can I see my Business Name on my QR Code?
If you want a Customized QR Code, then go to "I want to order a QR Code" and select “Customized QR Code with Business Name Required”. However, your QR Code from FOS will never have your Business Name.
How can I receive payments from my customers through BharatPe QR code?
Place the BharatPe QR code in your shop where it is easily visible by the customer for scanning. Customers can pay through any UPI app by scanning the BharatPe QR code.
I have multiple stores. Can I get a different QR for each?
Yes, you can generate multiple QR Codes for every retail store. To do this, please contact us.
I am unable to accept payments with my QR Code. What should I do?
Please check if your QR Code is not damaged, is in proper condition and can be easily scanned by your customers. However, if you are still unable to accept payments with your current QR Code, order a new BharatPe QR Code.

Transaction or Payment


How am I notified of successful payments?
You will be notified instantly via SMS and Email.
How can I change my Settlement Type?
Go to Home Screen. Tap on bank Details. Change the Settlement Type to instant or daily by swiping left or right.
I am not able to receive transactional messages. What can I do?
a. Contact your customer to check the status of your transaction.
b. If the payment is pending or unsuccessful, click on the link: bharatpe.in/ppi and fill the details. You will receive a call in 24 hours.
c. Make sure your phone has good network connection.
Where can I check my account settlements?
Go to Settlement. All your Transaction details will be there.
What are the types of settlements and how can I change my settlement type?
a. Instant Settlement
b. End of the Day Settlement
Go to the top of the Home Screen. Tap on bank Details. Change the Settlement Type to instant or daily by swiping left or right.
How would I know when BharatPe has settled my payments in my bank account?
You will be informed via SMS. Or, you can go to the Settlements section that keeps a record of all your transactions in the app/Dashboard. The money from each transaction is directly credited to your bank account.

Loans


Am I eligible for a loan?
The merchant has to be active with BharatPe by making transactions through the BharatPe QR Code for at least 3 months to be eligible for loan. The more transactions you make, the higher amounts of loan you are eligible to get.
Where can I apply for a Loan?
You can apply for loan online on the BharatPe App. Once you are approved by BharatPe to be eligible for getting loan, you have to fill a simple form.
What are the documents required to apply for a Loan?
For individual account:
a. PAN CARD, AADHAR CARD or any other ID proof approved by the government of India.
b. Your selfie/ your clicked photograph.
How much time will it take to process the application?
Once you are approved by BharatPe to be eligible for getting loan, your application will be processed in the next 48 hours.
How do I pay back my loan?
Through EDI or Easy Daily Installments in a tenure of 2 weeks, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 12 months. No processing fee. No hidden charges.
How is the credit limit decided?
It is decided by BharatPe. You can get up to Rs. 5 lakhs of loan.
What happens if I miss the payment on the due date?
Your payment will be deducted automatically on the next day by BharatPe.
